Press release regarding the launch of the project

The company OCULENS MED SRL is running, starting with 25.03.2026, the project "Digital Transformation with European Funding", SMIS code 336146.

The project is funded by the North-West Regional Program 2021-2027, under Specific Objective 1.2, Capitalizing on the advantages of digitalization, for the benefit of citizens, companies, research organizations and public authorities.
The Managing Authority responsible for the management and implementation of the North-West Regional Programme is the North-West Regional Development Agency.

The overall objective of the project is the Digitalization of society to increase labor productivity.
The specific objectives of the project include the acquisition of tangible assets, laptops, computers, notebooks, tablets, phones equipped with internet access for business purposes, network components, as well as intangible assets, licenses, medical information system, website, by promoting the principles of sustainable development, circular economy and equal opportunities, as well as implementing the necessary measures to achieve digital intensity indicators, according to the financing contract.
The aim is to improve patients' access to the medical services offered.
The project start date is 25.03.2026, and the expected completion date is 24.12.2026.

The project has a total value of 650,992.52 lei, of which 419,118.00 lei represents the value of co-financing from the European Union, and 73,962.00 lei represents the contribution from the national budget.
The investment project will be implemented in the Municipality of Cluj-Napoca, the Municipality of Dej and the Municipality of Zalău.
